Meet The Team

Ariadna Sionta is a young greek-argentine award wining film director and screenwriter. She was born in 1989 in the City of Buenos Aires to a Greek family. There she spent most of her early childhood in a cinema that belonged to her father. Afterwards, she spent her childhood and adolescence travelling between the capital of Buenos Aires and the countryside, where she attended prestigious St George’s British boarding school. After high school graduation, she was accepted in the University of London and moved to England where she studied English Literature and Creative writing. Some years later, she moved back to Buenos Aires after getting a scholarship from CIEVYC University (Centro de Investigación de Video y Cine), where she studied film and screenwriting. She studied a Master in Film directing in ESRA Paris (École Superieur de Réalisation Audiovisuelle). She also did actors directing courses with Maria Figueras and Julian Howard. Currently, she is finishing the post-production of her documentary "Clamor del Sur", produced by Be Revolution and Luminosa Venture and working in the development of a very ambitious true story, an 1800’s epic drama called "Fuegia", produced by Bally Bee Ltd (UK). She's just finished her new film "Ça y Est!", with Laurent Natrella and Élodie Menant. Ariadna is fluent in Spanish, English, Greek, Italian and French and often refers to herself as a nomad since she spends much of her free time travelling to different countries and learning from different cultures. She is mostly interested in socially relevant engaging stories that seek to bring us awareness and unite us as a society.
